CHALLENGE 2 — Close Aggregation Monitoring Evidence The team can either tune memory-related settings now to improve claims reserve aggregation or first confirm whether the copied monitoring thresholds reflect the upgraded system. Which decision best balances performance and evidence quality?

• A. se regional manager feedback instead of monitoring evidence because close reports loaded.
• B. une now and treat the improved aggregation time as the main close readiness result.
• C. eject all tuning until the SAP HANA Cloud modernization phase is complete.
• D. onfirm threshold relevance first, then tune only if current evidence supports the change.

CHALLENGE 4 — Close Recovery Readiness Gate
The sponsor asks whether the first close package can be approved now because backups completed and reports loaded successfully. The administration lead can either approve now or delay briefly to complete recovery evidence for the systems in scope. Which path is most defensible?

• A. pprove now because report loading and backup completion satisfy close-cycle needs.
• B. elay briefly to complete recoverability evidence before first close sign-off.
• C. ancel the close rehearsal because recovery validation was not completed before reporting began.
• D. pprove now and attach recovery validation to the later SAP HANA Cloud transition plan.

A transportation company maintains an on-premises SAP HANA database for dispatch operations while newer planning data is being moved into SAP HANA Cloud. During a recovery readiness review, the administrator confirms that full backups are being created on schedule. However, a validation exercise shows that the expected recovery point for recent operational updates cannot be reached during simulation.
The backup catalog is present, and database availability remains normal. One team member proposes creating an additional full backup immediately to strengthen protection. The service manager instead wants the next action to close the recovery exposure for current operations, not only improve future coverage.
What is the best next action?

• A. elay further action because normal database availability proves the current protection model is operationally sufficient.
• B. estart the backup-related services so that the recovery simulation recalculates against the latest available catalog entries.
• C. reate a new full backup immediately because a fresh backup is the fastest way to improve recovery assurance.
• D. erify whether the available backup chain supports the required recovery point and correct the missing continuity before changing the backup schedule.

A regional furniture manufacturer uses SAP HANA for production-demand analytics. SAP HANA cockpit shows the database as available, but the operations dashboard displays a short CPU spike during the planning run while the workload log shows a longer query wait interval. Users reported slow report refreshes at the same time. A coordinator suggests raising the CPU alert threshold because the spike was brief.
The constraint is that the administrator must determine whether the user delay is related to workload wait behavior before changing monitoring thresholds. The next planning run must remain observable with evidence that can support troubleshooting.
Which action best supports the troubleshooting decision?

• A. aise the CPU alert threshold because the observed spike was brief and the database remained available.
• B. gnore the workload wait interval because SAP HANA cockpit did not show a database outage.
• C. estart the database before the next planning run so the workload log starts from a clean state.
• D. orrelate the CPU spike, query wait interval, and user delay timing before deciding whether threshold changes are appropriate.

A financial operations team uses SAP HANA for internal reconciliation reporting. The administrator reviews backup monitoring after a scheduled maintenance cycle. SAP HANA cockpit shows the latest data backup as completed, but the backup validation report flags that the configured retention cleanup removed older log backup files earlier than expected. The system is available, and the reporting team has not reported any issue.
The constraint is that the administrator must protect the required recovery window before accepting the backup state as production-ready. The operations policy allows cleanup automation, but the backup and log retention behavior must still support the agreed recovery coverage.
What should the administrator do next?

• A. isable all backup cleanup automation so no backup files are removed in future cycles.
• B. orrect the retention setting to preserve the required log backup range, then validate recoverability for the agreed window.
• C. estart backup monitoring so the validation report can be generated from a refreshed runtime state.
• D. ccept the backup state because the most recent data backup completed successfully.
